Our take
I grabbed these York pancake 10s for variety in my home gym. The plate-style construction is unique and reminiscent of old strongman gear. They're cast iron and feel substantial for 10 lbs. The set of four is nice for partner workouts or supersets. At $75 for four, the value is solid. The only downside: they're not as comfortable as fixed dumbbells because the plates can pinch. But for the price and vintage appeal, they're a bargain. Good for curls, press, or just as display pieces.
